At Fem Små Hus we serve classic Swedish food with a French influence – both à la carte and as set menus. The ingredients are selected with care and the cooks prepare everything from scratch.
Our wine cellar is well stocked and our sommeliers will happily guide you through the wine list to ensure that your choice perfectly suits your meal.
There’s been a restaurant in the building since the 17th century. In the cellar there are many historic details and decorations, both from Sweden and other parts of Europe. One of the earliest restaurants was run by a woman named Anna Lindberg and so in her memory we serve “Fillet of Veal Anna Lindberg”, a dish that has become a classic and which has been on the menu since 1969.
The restaurant is housed in nine vaulted cellars that run underneath five houses on Nygränd, close to the Skeppsbron quay. On the upper level you’ll find the White Vault, the bar, the Copper Room and the Lion Room. Down the steps are the Long Vault, Blue Vault and Inner Vault. Take a look around when you are visiting us. The setting really is something special.
