The Urania World Clock is a large (16 ton) clock with a symbolic representation of the world, located on the Alexanderplatz in Berlin's Mitte district. It contains on its metal rotunda the names of 148 cities. Since its installation on September 30, 1969, it has been a popular meeting place in the German capital.
