Nelso/Twitter Contest
On Saturday, April 26, 2008, check in with Nelso on Twitter and win an iPod Touch!
We've decided to try a little crowdsourcing experiment, and use Twitter to determine the bars, pubs, and restaurants that are popular in Prague. To encourage our users to use the Nelso Twitter bot, we've giving away a brand-new iPod Touch.
How do I enter?
The terms of the contest are simple:
- Follow the nelso user on Twitter. Send an update to Twitter in the form "follow nelso", or click here to see the nelso account and then click on "Follow".
- On the evening of Saturday, April 26, 2008, send an update to Twitter in the form "@nelso YOUR LOCATION" (replace YOUR LOCATION with your current location, e.g. a bar or restaurant). Give as much detail as you can - include the part of Prague (e.g. Prague 6) if you know it. For example, if you are in the pub U Sadu in Prague 3, send an update in the form "@nelso u sadu, prague 3".
How do I know if I've won?
This is the fun part. Some time after 8:00PM (20:00) on Saturday, April 26, 2008, we'll choose a random user that has checked in with the Nelso Twitter account, go to that bar or restaurant, and award the iPod Touch to that person on the spot. Thus, you must be at the location you indicated in your Twitter update to win the iPod. If we can't find that person, we'll pick another random user, and so on, until we find a winner.
